Throw a Little Funk at your Italian! After hearing the raves about Bizzarro through the grapevine (and after living in the neighborhood and not trying it for the longest time), we headed there with family in anticipation of great Italian food with a little funk thrown in. Since we knew to expect an alternative type of dining experience, we went in with open minds. The food was absolutely phenomenal ~ you really can't go wrong with any of the entrees on the menu. The wine list was not extensive, but quite adequate. The servers, since we were forewarned, were expectedly quirky but quite knowledgeable and affable. The only real downside to the experience was that the music was turned up at a pretty high volume and our table of four couldn't readily converse without leaning over our entrees and talking loudly.
