As a loyal customer w/ family for a number of years, I was extremely disappointed on a recent visit. First off, if you arrive at 8:30pm on any night - even weekend nights - be prepared to be told to rush your order because their kitchen stops cooking promptly at 9:00pm. We ordered Chardonnay with dinner and received a bottle of `two-buck Chuck` - a reference to the cheap $1.99 wine sold at Trader Joe. The bill arrived and they had the gall to charge us $18 for the bottle - 9x the price of the wine!! Even great restaurants don't mark up their wines more than 2x or 3x. When I asked about their excessive charge, I received a curt explanation. Upon leaving, a server who didn't even wait on our table made a curt remark about the reduced tip his co-worker got from us as a result of gouging us on the wine. This restaurant ought to take a long, hard look at how they value their customer base, since there are a number of very good Chinese restaurants in this area. As good as the food can be at times, and it is, it doesn't overshadow good service and attitude. We will certainly not be coming back based on this recent experience.
