I dined at this restaurant for the first time, depsite living around the area for 30 years. Although the good food and the full bar, an incident involving another guest and the manager quickly changed my experience from excellent to below poor. A friend of the manager was sitting at the bar next to my GF and I. During the course of the night, my GF and I overheard this individual making a big deal over his salad, despite the fact that the fault was his own by not ordering the proper item. The individual approached me later in the evening, after I had paid my bill, and questioned my amount of gratuity in regards to my bill. He decided to lecture me on the proper etiquette on tipping, depsite the fact that he had no right to review my bill since he was NOT and employee of the restaurant. After telling this individual to get out of my face (as he was up close and personal), I located the manager of the restaurant to complain about my incident. The manager's response? `He's a customer, I can't do anything.` The manager then walked into the bathroom without any regards to what I had just told him. Earlier in the evening, I witnessed the individual and the manager high five each other, indicating their relationship. Needless to say I will never dine at this restaurant again and will continue to post my story on every restaurant review board on the internet.
