We visited Alice's Kitchen for breakfast in August 2001. We were quite impressed with how well organized the place was ... Since we are non-smokers, we were ESPECIALLY impressed by the segregated `Smoking` section. This was a section of the dining room that was COMPLETELY EN closed by glass walls with doors. There was even a warning sign posted on the door of the Smoking room stating that children under the age of 16 were not permitted to enter. Another thing we were pretty impressed with was the fact that Alice is gutsy enough to demand payment in cash (only). You go, Alice! PS -- Food was pretty good - Since we had breakfast (and you can't really mess that up) we would say that Alice definitely can run circles around IHOP!
