Love this place and have been going for over 30 years. Never had an average meal nor bad service. Yes, it's a bit pricy but well worth the extra money for authentic German cuisine. I salute The Fort for not caving-in to people who have no taste for adventurous fare. They need to go to a place where the food is bland like Lione's on Cooley. If you want to sample Bavarian spices and flavors you cannot duplicate at home, indulge yourself at The Fort.
