Sorry to report that this wonderful restaurant has closed. It was also a highlight of every trip I have made to Palm Springs. I would go directly from airport to the Hamlet. It was also great on Thursday nights with the Street Fair right in front. Will really miss this place. PLEASE REOPEN NEARBY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!- Is follow up to post by Sandy Prockert ...
We, my Wife and I, have always enjoyed the sidewalk experience at the Hamburger Hamlet. It is very pleasant to sit out-side and people watch, and enjoy one of their many special meals, such as a harty bowl of onion soup. the Service is very freindly. However due to the popularity of everyone wanting to sit outside by the sidewalk, expect some delays in being seated particularly during peack hours. We recommend it to all our freind when they visit Palm Springs and I am confident that they enjoy it as much as we do. -- 3/15/1997
