My visit on Friday, Feb 24 was absolutely delightful! I had been told I could sit on the porch drinking a mint julep while waiting for my table. I couldn't imagine a porch in downtown Atlanta and was pleasantly surprised to find the porch INSIDE! Rocking chairs surround an opening in the floor to the dining hall below. We had made reservations and was seated promptly. Water served in pewter goblets. Menu presented on an old timey funeral fan! (You know--the paper on a stick fan) Signature drinks were strong and good! Great breads too. Our table had Pittypat's filet and fried chicken which were phenomenal. Filet was sooo tender. Worth every dime. Dining rooms were filled with antique china and china cabinets and antique kitchen tools. Pictures of celebrities as well as Gone With The Wind characters were all over. It was a great southern experience. Everyone should visit.
