I went to Soto's for my birthday thinking that I would have a delightful dinner. Upon making a selection, I was told that there would be a 'wait' for my sashimi. I received lukewarm green tea followed by a 'spider roll'. The 'spider roll' was good but certainly nothing extraordinary - perhaps a little greasy! The miso soup was good but not extraordinary and the salad had a paucity of ginger added. Afterwards, I waited for one hour and my food still had not come!!!!!!!!!! Supposedly, 'the chef was way behind'. NO APOLOGIES. NOTHING. I finally told my waiter, NO THANKS, and left. I was amused to find out that (1) green tea was $3, (2) salad was $6, (3)miso soup was $3, and (4) NO ONE SAID ANYTHING ABOUT BEING SORRY FOR MY EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!! SOTO MIGHT BE AN 'ATLANTA TREASURE' BUT HE MUST BE THE SLOWEST SUSHI CHEF IN ATLANTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I KNOW GOOD SUSHI AND WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS 'WANNA BE' SUSHI HOUSE. Thank you.
