After reading all the (consistently) bad reviews posted here over the years and juxtoposing against the good time I had at this place many, many years ago (I think it was in the early seventies!) - I decided to revisit the Equinox w. a friend. What a ghastly experience it was. I'll try to be brief: Run, do not walk, from this place. Something has gone terribly wrong with this establishment over the years. Quite frankly the only thing that truly amazes me is how it continues to survive given the mediocrity/low quality of the food being served, the surly staff and the *tick- poor service coupled with astronomical prices. The view is nice though. I'm not going back again which is sad - I'll just have to be content with remembering the betters days that this place once enjoyed..... (edited)
