Traditional. Very pleasant experience. The spicy tuna salad was a very generous portion for a very steep price ($18). The sushi was passable - it is not my favorite in the city but I can see how the experience of this restaurant would be nice if you had your parents in town. Certainly nothing to write home about. The service was stiff and the lighting too bright.
