I once actually thought about working as a chef there to learn some recipes I've always liked the Mad Greek a lot, ever since I was a child in the 80s. I can only attest to what I've eaten of course, which is the same thing every time: humus with pita, baba, and chicken tikka (6 grades of heat). When I think of Cleveland, I think of the Mad Greek, and then I salivate Pavlov-style. The food is quite consistent despite different chefs. I believe the restaurant is run by the son of the founder. The founder was an Indian, and his wife is Greek. The restaurant has both Greek and Indian cuisine. The ambiance is unique. The service has always been better than most restaurants, I guess. (I would say if I was in the electric chair and I could have anything I wanted to eat as a final wish, I'd say go to the Mad Greek and get me some chicken tikka, humus, and their pita bread.)
