We went to Friar's Table to celebrate a special family birthday. Made our reservations a month in advance, requesting seating near fireplace. Upon arrival, our reservation request (for seating) was NOT honored! The rather rude manager stated, `After all, your seating preference was only a REQUEST; not a guaranteen.` (Once again, keep in mind that our reservation was made ONE MONTH in advance.) When `Rob` our server took our drink order, he made a crude sexual comment regarding my request for the drink `Sex on the beach.` It was all down hill from there....our service was extremely slow, `Rob` NEVER returned to our table to ask if our meal was satisfactory. As a matter of fact, my 16 oz. prime rib was rather fatty. It also took `Rob` 17 minutes to bring us our check. All in all, we have frequented the Friar's Table for the last time. Rather spend our money at Buffalo Chop House.
