The appetizers were very good: endive salad with prosciutto, squash soup, and escargot. The only potential criticism of this course is that the squash soup could have used a little more flavor, but it was very fresh. The entrees were excellent: my wife had Chicken Fricassee and I had the Steak au Poivre. I couldn't find a serious complaint with my meal. Perhaps the potatoes were just a little bit dry in places. My wife loved the Fricassee: various spice combinations added a nice dimension to the dish. She found her potatoes a little cold, though. For dessert, my wife's mango sorbet was excellent. I had the Creme Brulee and the top was too caramelized and too thick in places. The custard itself was good and the Creme Brulee was enjoyable in spite of the topping, but I would steer clear of this dessert in the future. Good ambiance and perfect service, as well.
