WOW I completly disagree with you. whenever i've been there the fish is fresh, the people are friendly yet respectful, and the atomosphere is the best part. also. The eel is my favorite. Is follow up to post by veromacias ... I did not enjoy Izumo mostly for two reasons: atmosphere and quality of food. It is way too dark in dining area and the wait staff not that warm and inviting. My husband and I love sushi and eat it as many times as possible, but I dont believe the fish is very fresh. I understand when a piece of seafood smells "fishy" is because it is older and not as fresh. As soon as you walk into Izumo the fish smell slaps you in the face......I dont recomend the eel. -- 6/18/2005 6:48:09 PM
