Im from Wisconsin but i lived in New Mexico while in high school. Upon my last visit i dined at El Pinto. I have never had such wonderfuly authentic new mexican food before. You pay a smidge more than an average restraunt, but the results are definatly worth it. The green chili is to die for. the chili ribs are nreal, and the house specialty chili con carne enchiladas were toe curling. the server was helpful, and our food was in good time to enjoy my company and a fine margarita. The atmosphere is breathtaking and i would reccomend this restraunt to anybody that visits within an hour of Albuquerque.
