For those travelers arranging a romantic evening out on the town, be careful when considering this restaurant for a special occasion. My husband and I were celebrating our first Wedding Anniversary in St. Petersburg and I searched for the best French restaurant in town. I thought I had found it when I happened upon the Chateau France. I set up reservations for October 2nd, 3 months in advance, with a complimentary Limo ride from our hotel. I called to confirm the date, time, and limo pick-up the week before to be on the safe side. I was assured that everything was arranged-twice. On our Anniversary we waited for our limo pick up, and waited, but the limo never came. We called and found out that they had us scheduled for the 12th. What angered me was there was no apology, no explanation, and no offer to fit us in immediately, or to accomodate us in any way. I'm shocked that this would happen at their supposed level of service and excellence. We ended up walking around the corner to eat at Julian's instead, and had a lovely dinner there!
