The service was excellent, but the food preparation was disappointing and, at times, substandard. The first course, goose liver, was overpowered by balsamic vinegar. The dessert had pignoli shells in it! The entire restaurant smelled like it had just been painted. I later realized the smell came from the kerosene lamps on every table. Everyone else seems to rave about it, so I may give it another try if someone else suggests it.
