Tadich is a San Francisco tradition and it is the one place I always take out-of-town friends to. The food is delicious. Try any of the fresh fish options, a simple preparation is always the best. The cioppino is exceptional. They do not take reservations so be prepared to wait in line. Lunch during the week is especially busy - it is one of the Financial District's favorite places to take clients and make business deals. While some consider the service to be abrupt and stuffy, I find it delightful. The servers are professionals who have been there for many years and take great pride in their job. Give them the respect they deserve and you will have a wonderful experience. Tadich gets my highest rating!
