I dined here in 2000 and at the Bistro in 2001. Le Chambord is on my list of the best 5 places I have dined in the country. It was my wife's (then girlfriend) birthday and everything was perfect. When we dined at the Bistro, we ordered a fish baked in rock salt that was brand new for them. They brought it to the table and upon fileting realized it was not done. They apologized, the head waiter came over, the manager came over, they provided us with salad, two separate appetizers, brought another fish that was cooked to perfection, brought dessert and coffee, and only charged us for the fish and our first set of drinks. This place is fabulous and if they mess something up, they more than make up for it. I don't know where some of you ate, (except VB Diner) but I must heartily disagree.
