I've now been to Cafe Pierre twice, and have had two excellent experiences. The ambiance is cozy and romantic, but also lends to an intmate evening with a group of close friends or family. As for the food, the duck with butternut squash risotto and pinot noir sauce is to die for, as is the special my boyfriend and I both tried one night, beef medallions with a goat cheese sauce. Both visits I've tried the soup of the day and been pleasantly surprised, and not too full to continue on my culinary adventure. The wine list is extensive, as is the staff's knowledge on what to suggest with your meal. To finish off, though the bread pudding is what they're known for, I'm a sucker for creme brulee! This is certainly some of the best I've had (and I've tasted many!); accompanied by a glass of dessert wine suggested by our waiter, and the night was complete. I will be back for many more visits, this is certain!
