you really have a negative attitude, for a person in the `restaurant biz`. If the Ivy was that offensive to you there would have been nothing to keep you, and your entourage, from walking out. THE WORST!! As a person in the restaurant biz I like to think of myself as pretty tolerant when it comes to the shortcomings of other joints but Ivy at the Shore pushed me over the top. Rushed, moronic service. Ugly, bland food. The prices are an outright gouge for the garbage they serve. Tired decor. Door staff were lost in casting space. Bartenders seemed to scarcely know the difference between vodka and gin. The best part of the night was leaving. Had I not been with out of town guests I would have walked out. Please do not make the mistake I did. Avoid this place as you would a shark. -- 6/25/2004 2:52:27 PM
