I have heard that Paolucci's has relocated to Staten Island on Forest Avenue. I am inquiring - is this the same restaurant? Is the menu available for viewing?- Is follow up to post by mhearn ...
I have been going to Paolucci's for the past 18 years.
I discovered it quite by accident as it is the only
restaurant on Mulberry Street that is above ground. The
food is the best Italian cuisine I have had in New York.
The sauces here are especially good. The atmospehere
is subudued and understated, the staff is courteous but
not intrusive and Mr. Paolucci is always on the
premises to assure all goes well. I cannot say enough
about Paolucci's; when I am feeling down I come here and always leave feeling better. Cliches can serve a
purpose so I will close my remarks with the closing
line of "Moonstruck" that just about sums it up--
a la famille!!!!
