I did not enjoy Izumo mostly for two reasons: atmosphere and quality of food. It is way too dark in dining area and the wait staff not that warm and inviting. My husband and I love sushi and eat it as many times as possible, but I dont believe the fish is very fresh. I understand when a piece of seafood smells `fishy` is because it is older and not as fresh. As soon as you walk into Izumo the fish smell slaps you in the face......I dont recomend the eel.
