My brother and I took the Ferry from Alameda to Pier 41 so that we could eat at the Grotto. Worried about some of the negative reviews, I was relieved when we had a delicious and well-served meal. My brother said the swordfish was the best he ever had. A dish he normall orders when he eats out. I had the `scallone` which was tasty. Yes, the prices were higher than I remembered, but the view and service made it worthwhile.
