Spiteful and discriminating criticism of a restaurant, hasty and thoughtless, (especially when posted on a site such as this) is extremely detrimental to the economy and the individuals who work very hard to make enough money to survive in the food service industry. Did you even consider a letter to the owner or manager first. Do you have a personal vendetta against gays? It IS called `Drag Brunch`, you know....It shouldn't have been that much of a suprise. Oh and the fly...IT'S A BUFFET BRUNCH- maybe going a little lighter on the fly-attracting hairspray and cologne would help...Next time, maybe you should go to Denny's, where there's no service, straight white trash, greasy food, loud kids, more flies, and less culture. That'll give you something SUBSTANTIAL to write about.- Is follow up to post by m.hewett ...
Horrible. VERY suprised by the positive postings.
Went to Easter Sunday brunch there two weekends ago:
1. terrible lines to get food. 2. food was terrible- everyone in our 5 person group concurred 3. best thing from the buffet was the pineapple 4. there was a fly in one of the salads - it was well marinated in there too! 5. Service was horrible. Asked for salt and pepper and the guy didn't even point out that the bowl of white powder in the dish was salt- we thought it was sugar and put it in out coffee!
If you want a place just to hang out and be gay - this is it. I would suggest going upstairs to the roof and get a drink.
