We arrived and were seated promptly. No server to the table for a good 8-10 minutes. A server arrived and we began to order drinks... he stopped us and said he would send the beverage server to our table. Another 5 minutes pass before she arrives. She stumbles through our orders and has several of us repeat our orders. Drinks are very slow to arrive... another 8-10 minutes. We all ordered the “Yolie’s Famous Grill”. The food was only okay… the sides were good and the meat was interesting with the seasoning but very dry (overcooked?) and not at all worth the price. We had continual problems getting drink service, so when the manager stopped by our table, I told him “The drink service has been very poor, each of us has finished a glass and had it sit empty for more than five minutes before we’ve flagged down a server to get it replaced. I can’t even get my water glass refilled without having to flag down a server.” Next thing we know there is another server bringing four glasses of water (I was the only person having water… so the manager obviously didn’t hear/understand what I had told him). The first three glasses are placed on the table in front of my companions, as the server has lifted my new/second water glass from the tray… the bottom literally fell off the glass in mid-air with glass and water going all over the table and our food and beverages. It was a disaster. We were moved to another table. The server started to grab our drinks from the previous table and seemed very much surprised that we wanted new drinks. With this entire disaster happening, neither the owner who was seated at an adjacent table, nor the manager came over to us to apologize or anything. (Our total bill was reduced by 15%.) But, our disastrous evening was not yet over. Their credit card system went down went down just as we were to pay our bill. After 15-20 minutes we were desperate, fortunately we had sufficient cash.
