My wife and I ate at Lynnhaven Fish House last night. It used to be very good but times have changed. We ordered old favorites, fresh fish with Christo sauce and crabcakes. The fish was over cooked and dry, the Christo sauce tasteless. The broiled crabcakes were also dry containing little crabmeat and mostly breading. Bringing this to the attention of our waiter, he explained that the food was very dependent on who did the prep that morning. In an attempt to salvage our evening, he brought a small dish of crab meat. It was unevenly heated and of odd texture as if `nuked` and also quite tasteless. I'm sad to see what used to be so good has fallen so far so fast.
