to jlewis1008: The finest food in the country (including fish and shellfish) can be found in and around Chicago. tschaff may be incorrect (or have visited Herbsaint on a bad day), but to dismiss his opinion and suggesting that he is a midwestern rube shows a certain lack of class on your part. Don't be so parochial.- Is follow up to post by jlewis1008 ...
Are you from the midwest or something?
The abundance of French Chards match the menu - Creole/ bistro style food.
It is sometimes lighter fare than a brennan restaurant (not drowning in butter or cream) but I have always left very satisfied. As a vegetarian, there is always an awesome special for me too! you also can request not to sit at the banquett. the banquet is a new orleans tradition for those who enjoy the social aspect. there are plenty of normal tables spaced w/ plenty of room between them. Try again and don't order Sea Bass if you don't like it. -- 3/2/2004 3:55:01 PM
