My son and four friends went to Equinox before their senior prom. After about an hour and a quaret, they had been served only drinks and soup. Since they were worried that the doors would close at prom, and they would be unable to attend, they had to take their entrees to go. (The girls especially were not thrilled about eating in the car in teir prom dresses.)No apology was offered, and none of their food was comped. At Equinox, the high prices are justified by the service and ambience. They created a tense, miserable experience for my son's party. When I called and spoke to the manager, Robert, he apologized by saying that they'd had too many customers that night, and offered to send the kids a gift certificate. This never arrived, so now this restaurant has disappointed them twice
