This place is expensive when you considering the neighborhood. There is no menu and prices appear to be pulled from thin air. The sushi IS VERY, VERY good. Having just been to tokyo, it was exciting to visit a more authentic sushi restaurant here in L.A... the only thing that varied from ones in tokyo was the less-than-polite chef. We actually felt like we were being made fun of for most of the meal. The waitress warned that he's not good with first-time visitors and later offered us a dessert `on the house` but told us to eat it before the chef came back. I would consider this place for special occasions if I didn't feel so unwelcome.
