I have travelled the world over and have never been treated as shabilly anywhere on the planet as I was in this eating establishment, not Russia, not Asia, not Africa, not anywhere. My wife and I met friends there: one a pastry chef whose services are used by five of San Diego's finest restuarants and her friend (she also fills in for a cooking show broadcast locally) and another friend of mine who is moving to your fair city. He is a well thought of Doctor who is also widely traveled with his wife. We were with friends we had not seen in 25 years and friends who we were meeting for the first time. We all enjoy good food and good conversation. We were two hours into a 3-4 hour visit and I fully expected to spend in the $3-400 range. After 2 hours and $98 into a beverage and tapas tab (the beginning of our meal)we were abruptly ordered to leave the restaurant because WE WERE NOT ORDERING FAST ENOUGH AND WERE NOT SPENDING MONEY FAST ENOUGH. . . others were waiting for our reserved table. We asked for the manager who told us we could sit at at table for two and that was the best he could do. We said `no` and were given our tab and told to leave. We felt humiliated and insulted and will tell all that care to listen why they should never frequent that horrid place again!
