You probably ordered the Chicken Ceasar Salad which is designed as an entree. If not, why didn't you say anything to the server? It sounds as if your dinner companion ordered the prime rib. If so, that wan't a pool of blood under the meat -- it was au jus. Did your companion eat the steak? If so, why shouldn't you have to pay for it?- Is follow up to post by lincoln ...
We went to Sam's Steakhouse last night. It was incredibly disappointing. I ordered a ceasar salad, which arrived well after everyone else's entree at the table. One of my dinner companions who order a medium well steak was served a nearly raw slab of meet with a pool of blood underneath it. They took it back to the kitchen to cook it some more but still charged us the $26 for it on the bill. The server began clearing the plates before all of us were finished, making some people feel rushed. Overall, Sam's is way overpriced for such poor food and service. -- 11/2/2004 1:52:50 PM
