We hadn't been to Bo Brooks since they were on Belair Rd. So, last night we went. Got an outdoor table that proved to be the best part of the whole experience. Saw a beautiful sunset on a cool, clear evening. Even saw some ducks on the water. The menu's smaller than before for starters. Cream of crab soup was spiceless. Onion rings were no better than anywhere else. Crab cakes were more filler than meat. Three of us got the seafood platter which did contain some nice big scallops which tasted fine. The rest of it, including the crab cake, shrimp, and flounder were only ok. My wife's steak (part of the surf & turf) was cooked as she requested, which was the only real plus side of the food. You can get lots better seafood for less at a lot of places around this town. So, it looks like Bo Brooks has become just another downtown tourist trap. They were better on Belair Rd.
