bad Food, Awful Service! I agree with the other reviewer who said don't expect what you ordered at this dump. The first thing you notice when walking into this dump, is just that, it's a total dump set up in a little shack of a place. The floor was filthy, bugs were flying around, the tables and chairs were very cheap, old and dirty looking, and most incredibly the staff who were so called `cleaning` the tables were using filthy rags with other food residues on them and god only knows what else to clean the tables -talk about bacteria central! I reluctantly sat down and ordered, because I had to drive a long way to find this dump, and I was starving at that point and thought maybe the food will be good. Wrong! I ordered my steak medium rare, but what I received was a burnt looking overdone piece of meat, with enough fat on it to fill a lard jar. horrible! I sent it back and asked for what I ordered (I wasn't about to pay over 20 dollars for this junk), a medium rare steak, not a burnt and overdone piece of fatty meat, and to my amazement instead of Captain Al making it right, he refused to cook me another steak! This man was so rude about this whole thing it truly repulsed me and the other patrons sitting by me and this is not what one calls southern hospitality. The gentleman sitting next to me had also ordered his steak a certain way, and instead he received something completely different. Captain Al also refused to make his steak correctly also. Why do they bother asking you how you would like you're steak when Al is only going to make it his way and not as ordered? I and the gentleman sitting next to me both refused our horrible food platters when they weren't made correctly and ended leaving in total disgust since Al refused to make them right. I don't need to tell you that if the owner and cook of a restaurant doesn't care and treats customers this way, then this can't speak well of the food and this is definitely a place that you need to avoid.
