This restaurant is *crud. Don’t go there. The waiters are ageist, racist, and snobbish. I went there for my birthday and quality of service was inexcusably terrible. When I called the restaurant they said that wouldn’t accept a reservation for my party and me. I was informed they could seat a party of four without complications. When we arrived it was quite the contrary they refused to serve us because the restaurant was full. They explicitly said that there was no room for the whole night. But when a couple came in after my party and asked for a table the same waiter, said the wait was only 15 to 20 minutes. He then informed my party the same words [only because we were still standing there.] When people left the waiter did not inform us that a table was ready, he “forgot” out of sheer incompetence. Once we were seated, the same waiter asked us to move to another table for the couple after us. After we moved and the waiter had taken our order it took them over 20 minutes just to give us soup. Then 10 to 15 minutes for salad. Another 10 to 15 minutes for our entrées. We were never served an order of pieta breed that we had ordered. “Surprisingly” [another table that had just come in after us] got an order of pieta breed right away. When our bill came they [charged us for the non-existent pieta breed that they never served us.] The average price of an entrée well set you back $15 to $20 dollars, even though the food is not all that delicious. The food was salty and bland. In all I spent about two hours just waiting to be seated and waiting to be served. If you prefer to waste time, induce hypertension, and increase the susceptibility to cardiovascular disease go indulge yourself in this departmental dinner. I have never been treated this badly even while being served at a Denny’s. The waiters’ behavior was reprimand able. If you prefer quality service and food, I suggest you will definitely receive better service at Daphne’s Greek Café. (edited)
