I rented out the party room at Sammy's recently for a gathering of 30, and we had a blast. Great food, competent service and no errors on the bill. The food is unique, hearty and delicious. Don't miss it! Shmaltz-lover - Is follow up to post by Grumpmeister ...
They should rename this dump Infamous Sammy's.
It's overpriced. It's noisy. It's dingy. The food is mediocre. And you better double-check the arithmetic on the check, assuming that you can read it. (It's often scribbled in cyrillic so you don't know what you are paying for.
When this tourist trap dump finally has a stake driven through its vampiric heart, I will open a botthe of Dom Perignon to celebrate its demise.
