Eating at the Olive Tree is one of the great NYC experiences. I travel to the city on business a couple times a year and will always cross town for at least one meal at the Olive Tree. Besides the exceptional schwarma and lamb ka bob , their cabbage beef borscht always makes the trip worthwhile. There's nothing pretentious about the restaurant with hard wood floors and slate tables. Good drinks, coffees, and deserts too all at very reasonable prices. Always friendly, colorful, and fun. Mitch
