The view was amazing! One of the best that I have seen while dining in a restaurant in SF! The waitstaff was nice, polite and accomodating. But, the food was just plain awful. The filet mignon was tough, tough, tough. I could've used it to re-sole the bottom of my shoe. The squab was greasy and tough. It was mainly skin and bone. Is follow up to post by thorndyke ... Worth a visit. Make a reservation, and dress. Ask to have your drink before dinner "on the roof". They'll open it for you. The view is TERRIFIC. We've been back several times. -- 8/6/1998 4:10:18 PM
