More errors in restaurant description: forgot to mention - it's not small. Just the dining area in front of the bar is small. The back rooms are expansive. Also, I haven't seen anyone smoke inside the restaurant since smoking was outlawed.- Is follow up to post by lynnmarie2002 ...
The prices listed here are off - typically we can't get out of Casa Orinda for less than $35 / head, with entree specials running upto $40. If we order drinks, add $10 per person. Portions are somewhat generous. For the most part, food quality is home-style traditional comfort foods, surf and turf, fried chicken and mashed potatoes, and a selection of fish and pasta. They usually serve the older White crowd. They also requently quote 90 minute wait times to anyone who doesn't have a reservation, even if they're not full. -- 1/26/2005 11:19:46 AM
