Thumbs down on customer service. I never actually made it to the restaurant. I received a $75 gift certificate about 8 months ago. I was pregnant at the time (and my stomach wasn't very adventurous) so I put it aside. My daughter is now a couple months old so I tried to make a reservation for my husband and I over valentines weekend. The owner answered - she advised me that the certificate could not be used on special days (this is not a promotional or coupon I have but a gift certificate). She then advised me that the certificate was only valid for six months so she would not accept it. I have never heard of such a policy and was outraged. She told me to come in for dinner and she would comp me a coffee and dessert for my troubles - oh how generous since she is sitting on my friedns $75. I will never go to this restaurant and encourage others to do the same. -- 2/12/2003 8:45:48 AM
