Charlie Trotter's is superb in every respect, and always a culinary adventure from beginning to end. Charlie will temper his portions to your appetite as well-- our server noticed my husband wasn't finishing all his plates (to save room for all courses) and asked him if the chef might provide 'mini' portions of each selection for him. They were perfectly sized and just what he was after. Charlie Trotter himself is engaging, energetic, and always makes his guests feel welcome. A chef-artist in a world-class field. Don't miss this restaurant. elw
