  VISITOR REVIEW

The portion size for lunch was beyond meager, at least for the sashimi . The modest-sized rice bowl was 3/4 EMPTY. The `salad` was 5 half-moons of paper-thin cucumber.

Even I, a small woman with a small appetite, was still hungry after I'd eaten every scrud* of food on my plate!

The staff was incredibly rude. When I asked if I could order more food (I was still hungry!), the scowling waitress told me `NO!`.

I asked again if I could order more food, but was told that there was no more of food to be served. Surprising, since at that point it was only 12:15 pm. Then the waitress thrust my bill at me and walked away.

I have no idea why Togetsu has gotten such great reviews. The food was average at best. After spending $10 for a mediocre lunch, you'd at least think you wouldn't have to leave hungry. Or put up with snarly waitstaff. (edited)
