I have been exoeriencing the Tivoli for at least 19 years. Since my family was living outside of D.C., we were able to frequent it, at least on special occasions...including my Bar Mitzvah. Every Birthday dinner since i was about 13 has been there....even though i am in Philadelphia now....my parents still make it a point to take me there. We got to know the owner and M'atrie'd (forgive the spelling) and they were always axious to see us, and overly pleasant and attentive when we arrived. As a small business...it has been one of the most gratifying experiences i have ever had, EVERY time i have gone. And as a restaurant, their food and service are exquisite. There is truly nothing like it. Do not miss the opportunity to go.
