My fiancé and I went to this restaurant because we heard it was a great place! The ONLY thing good about it was the view! Our waiter took 10 minutes before even coming to ask us for our drink selection, then took another 10 minutes to get it out to us! We chose the oyster sampler and it was VERY good, but then things went downhill. I decided on the the lobster and Clay decided on the crab cakes. His Crab cakes were good, but were served on a sauce that appeared to be mayonnaise. The cake themselves were very rich, but the items accompanying them were very poorly done. My lobster was the worst part of the meal. I figured that, of all places, I could get good lobster in Seattle! I mean, it's RIGHT on the coast! The lobster was 1 1/lbs., in which I was paying $20/lb for. The presentation was very nice, it came out beautiful. Only problem was that there was NO lobster! I think I `may` have had 4 tbls of lobster off of the whole thing, claws included! What meat I did get was mushy....I don't know if that is from undercooking it or what, but it was horrible. I should have sent it back, but I HATE to complain about food in restaurants....I feel like maybe it's just my taste buds. Having thought it over, I WISH I had said something. No one should have to spend $25 on a lobster and only get 3 bites!!! 3 mushy bites at that! The deserts looked wonderful, but Clay and I were so put out with this place by this point in time, we just wanted to GO. It took the waiter another 10 minutes to find out check, and then he somehow threw away our parking ticket that we had on the table to get validated. If you are in Seattle, or going, I wouldn't not bother with this place! Duke's chowder house and The Fisherman down by the piers are MUCH better choices!! Heather
