Service was excellent. The waiter paid strict attention to my finicky date's instructions and made her happy. The place is noisy, but noisy seems to be the modern trend. We enjoyed the food, but it wasn't as Italian as I had hoped it would be. To some, however, that may not be a fault. After dinner, about one block away, we were walking on Michigan Avenue and we were approached by a young black man in rappers clothing who persistently tried to sell us something. When I asked him to leave us alone, he jumped and bounced around me, shouting, cursing, getting in my face, asking who I thought I was -- telling him what to do. He left only when I I dialed 911 on my cell phone, telling him that he could report me to the police. Chicago needs more foot patrols in its busy night areas, to control the behavior of its rude and incendiary citizens.
