We ate at this neighborhood restaurant last night and would not recommend it. When we arrived, it was crowded and we were told it would be a 40 minute wait. We decided that was OK and went upstairs to the bar after the hostess assured us she would call us there when our table was ready. The bar was crowded, but after a few minutes we got a seat. There were 2 bartenders and neither one acknowleged us for at least 5 minutes. In fact, they avoided any eye contact. We finally had to ask for service and told them we were waiting for a table. After nearly an hour, we asked the bartender to please check on our table. When he did, he said we could go right down. Clearly, the hostess had made no attempt to find us. We were seated in a corner table by the window overlooking the river. It was lovely. However, our server was inattentive and we waited again to be acknowledged. As my husband was talking to her about the menu, she turned around and left to do something else. Once we ordered, we were again left until the food arrived, about 25 minutes later. The entire meal was served tepid, including the salad! It tasted good, but everything that should have been hot was lukewarm and the vegetables were nearly cold. Again, after the meal was served, our server never returned to a inquire if everythink was OK. I would not reccommend this restaurant to anyone, nor will we ever go back. The sad part is that the food was good, but the service was awful. This is clearly a management issue, and until I hear they've been replaced, I will not go back.
