I have to disagree with Sarah1swim. We made reservations on a Thursday evening for Saturday at 6, with no problems. (Party of four). The entire point of the restaurant is you cook your own food. I respect you being a vegetarian, but why would you have to call ahead to tell them? Didn't you tell your waiter? If you had been trying to eat there for three months, one would think you would have looked at the menu online sometime in that timeframe, and seen that you 1) pick a cheese style, 2) pick a meat tray, 3) pick a chocolate style for desert. A bill for a party of four is around $150-$200. Plan on being there for upwards of three hours. I've been twice and loved it! Staff has been great, they clearly like their jobs, and the food is really, really good. GO HUNGRY! - Is follow up to post by sboggs ...
My boyfriend and I had been trying to get a reservation for three months at this place when we finally did on the valentine's day last Feb...I was utterly disappointed with the whole experience, the menu was fixed and during the second course they brought out a tray of raw meat for dinner...my boyfriend had called ahead to tell them that I was a vegetarian. The restaurant is over-priced, unaccommodating, and you can probably made better fondue (much more affordable) in your own kitchen. -- 5/21/2003 1:50:17 PM
