Let me begin by saying that My wife's birthday was ruined by this `world class restaraunt.` We made a reservation on Sat. and ended up arriving 30 minutes ahead of time. The host/waiter/busboy informed us that it would be about 1 - 1 1/2 hour until we receive our entree. No big deal. The first hour and a half passed with the arrival of our appetizer which instantly got cold because of the AC unit blowing right on us. It was good, dont get me wrong. The next 45 minutes passed with the arrival of our salads and the 2nd bottle of wine that we were sipping to pass the time. We were then told only 10 more mintues until the entree came out...ok. Not more than 5 minutes later the waiter catches my father in law on his way back from the bathroom to inform him that our food was not next and he was not sure when it would be done...`its just how the tickets fall` we were told!!! 2.5 hours and no entree with a fussy child to boot. We had had enough and went to tell the waiter(of which there was only 1) we were leaving and would pay for the app., wine, and salad. Out storms the chef, Julie was her name, to let us know that our food was ready, they were not a chain and that we should have expected to wait. While constantly being interrupted my wife tried to convey the message that if we had known it would be 3 hours til we ate, we would not have stayed. With a disgusted attitude she told the waiter to comp our ticket with the parting shot of `I'm sorry we are not robots` as she walked away. Have you ever had to wait three hours for your dinner??? 1.5 hours okay, 2 hours pushing it, 2.5 hours getting ridiculous, 3 hours no thanks!!! As we walked out wanting nothing from this womans place after waiting 3 hours, she had the audacity to come out and ask if she could box it up for us. After being that rude we wanted nothing from her and went on to enjoy our 10:00 pm Popeyes Chicken. Please stay away unless you have 3 hours to kill.
