Restaurant was strongly recommended by the conceirge at the hotel where we were staying. Deplorable experience: A waiter who, yes, shouted, at people at their tables. Our food was dropped on the table, accidentally, I'm sure, by the staff. The menus were terribly worn down. Pages on the wine list were missing. Staff in a rush. Every one of them. Staff bumping your chair (repeatedly) when other patrons being served. Fish dishes were so-so (overly complicated, taste not so unique, just saucy). Meat dishes so-so. Noisy. *Way* overpriced. An apologizing maitre d'. Yes, that's right. He knew people besides use were unhappy. Over-rated. $198 for two people + tip is excessive and offensive. I've spent that kind of money elsewhere in Hawaii and on the mainland and received *far* better results. One of the things this retaurant suffers from is...a view! A nice view of the ocean. Papa's axiom: If the restaurant has a nice view, don't expect outstanding cuisine because they're selling the view, not the food!
