i'm glad that i didn't read the previous response or i may have never gone to billy's. my wife and i want to try a new place and recently moving nearby (about 5 minutes away) we thought that we'd try billy's. i ordered the weiner schnitzel and my wife ordered walnut chicken. we both thought the food was excellent and the atmosphere quant. we would not only go back there again but would love to bring any out of town visitors we may receive throught the year with us. We also didn't have to waint long for the food. it was a very pleasant relaxing time.- Is follow up to post by mactwo ...
I cant begin to describe how bad the service is at Billy's.My wife and I went there for what we thought would be a quick lunch several months ago.We arrived about 1145 and our nightmare began. Despite the fact there were no more than ten customers present,we waited interminable amounts of time for the absolutely indifferent staff to: acknowledge our presence and seat us,provide menus, return with our beverages and take our orders. Finally,at 1:10,our iced teas having been drained for quite some time, our patience ran out.Having no luck locating our waitress, being due at work in 35 minutes and fearing we would miss our first social security checks,we dropped 3.00 on the table and left, still hungry, vowing never to return. -- 1/3/1999 8:30:05 PM
